A networking app that doesn’t feel like networking

Keep the connections you actually want to keep.

Connecton turns the people in your network into a tiny city. Jot a quick note after you talk, get nudged when it’s time to reach out, and watch your city grow.

Free while in beta · Takes about a minute · Works on your phone

A tiny isometric city. Each house belongs to someone in your network, with a person standing beside it.

Sound familiar?

  • You swapped Instagrams at the career fair. Now it’s been four months and texting them feels weird.

  • A mentor gave you great advice. You never told them it worked.

  • You meet so many people. You remember what they said for about a week.

Connecton is the notebook, the nudge, and the excuse to reach out.

How it works

Three steps. About two minutes a week.

  1. 1

    Move someone in

Add a person, say how you know them and pick their house. Each one gets their own little corner of your city, with someone standing at the door.

  2. 2

    Log a quick note

After you talk, write what you talked about. Their house wakes up, you earn XP, and next time you remember the details.

  3. 3

    Get nudged, then send it

Choose how often you want to stay in touch. When a house falls asleep you get a nudge around noon, and a draft is ready from your own notes.

What you get

A relationship notebook that’s actually fun to open.

  • Drafts that sound like you

Choose a text message or an email. The draft is written from what you noted about them and how you know them, so it sounds right for a friend or for a mentor.

  • Nudges at the right time

Choose how often you want to stay in touch with each person. When their house falls asleep you get a push notification around noon, in your own time zone. A locked screen shows no details unless you turn that on.

  • A city that grows with you

Every real note earns XP. Level up to unlock new house styles, more lots, parks, buses and more.

  • Closeness, not just contacts

The more you show up for someone, the more their corner grows: flowers by the door, a party hat, even a bicycle.

  • Private by default

Your city and your notes belong to your account. Nobody else can see them.

  • No app store

Add it to your home screen in a few taps. Works on iPhone and Android.

No app store

Add it to your home screen in three taps.

It works right in your browser. Adding it to your home screen makes it feel like an app, and on iPhone it’s needed for reminders.

  1. 1

Open this page in Safari, not inside Instagram or TikTok.

  2. 2

Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.

  3. 3

Choose Add to Home Screen, then open Connecton from there.

Questions, answered

Is it really free?

Yes. Connecton is free while it’s in beta and there’s nothing to pay for right now. If that changes, it will be said clearly before anyone is asked to pay for anything.

Do I need to download anything?

No. It’s a web app. Open it in your browser, sign up, and add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app and get reminders. The steps are above.

Who can see my notes?

Only you. Your city and your notes are tied to your account and aren’t shared with other users.

What does the AI do with my notes?

When you open someone, or press the draft button, their name, how you know them, their age (worked out from the birthday, which isn’t sent), nationalities, your recent notes about them, and simple facts such as how long since you last wrote are sent to Google’s Gemini to write the draft. Nothing is sent for people you haven’t opened.

How many people can I add?

You start with room for 8 people. More lots open as your city levels up, up to 20.

Is it just for job stuff?

No. Recruiters, mentors, teammates and classmates, but also the friends you’re slowly losing touch with. If you want to stay close, it works.

Your city is empty. Go move someone in.

It’s free, and the first house takes about a minute.
